Welcome to the Hammerhead developer community. We are excited to welcome more developers to the Hammerhead ecosystem to build awesome experiences on our bike computers with us.
- This forum is for developers building apps and extensions for Hammerhead devices to communicate with each other and the broader Hammerhead rider community. Community members are encouraged to interact, help, learn and grow together.
- This forum will not be moderated by the Hammerhead team like other community forums, but Hammerhead reserves the right to remove members that break the community guidelines below.
- Hammerhead does not provide support for the development of third party applications for our devices. Third party's are responsible for the development of their applications.
- Hammerhead developers are not responsible for interacting with this forum and providing assistance. Hammerhead developers may weigh in from time to time on the community forums, but it is not their responsibility to support external developers.
- This forum is not a job board for developers. However, we would love it if this community brought folks together to solve problems. If topics stray from development on Hammerhead devices, please move those communications to a different forum.
- Hammerhead is not responsible for troubleshooting issues with third party applications. Please contact the developer or support team of the third party application for assistance.
- If you are a developer looking to make your app more accessible on Hammerhead devices, you can get in touch with us by filling out this FORM.
- We will provide more information moving forward on the best place to open new feature requests for additional Extension functionality on Hammerhead devices. We will continue to add new functionality to the Extension repo moving forward. New Extension functionality will be prioritized along with the rest of our Hammerhead product and development initiatives. As with all SRAM/Hammerhead products, we do not comment publicly on future product releases.

- Rudeness, insulting others, personal attacks, threats, or inflammatory posts are not tolerated as per User conduct on Hammerhead’s Terms of Use.

- No posting of lewd or inappropriate comments, language, or photos.
- Advertising, spamming, solicitation, and Trolling are not allowed.
- "Spam" means sending the same message repeatedly, with the purpose of advertising, self-promotion, or just plain nonsense.
- "Troll" means posting content in the forums that are intended to anger or frustrate others.

Hi, just an idea for a karoo repository: f-droid. Client works fine on Karoo (I have it installed), maybe it is even customizable by HH devs for including a particular version on the Karoo base software. I think the good point could be that it's all done, and there is no need to recreate the wheel again. All karoo-ext apks could be together there... as the f-droid official repo for android devices apps...
This is only an idea, I'm not a dev, but this seemed feasible for me at a glance... 🙄 Maybe someone experienced could say about this.
Also, there may be similar solutions... Well, maybe HH had their own solution almost implemented...😅
