Feature request: pause (break) markers in dashboard
Hello, this is my first post here after 3 years with K2. Unlike many others I didn't switch to Hammerhead from Garmin or Wahoo but from Sigma. They had pretty nice PC program called Sigma Data Center with many functions. That's why I was a bit shocked when I saw the Hammerhead Dashboard for the first time. During years it was improved, that's true, but for example there is still zero statistics which is really shame, at least for me.
But now back to my idea. In Sigma's program I was used to see where I did stop during my rides and sometimes it was interesting. They was a lot of information to see like lenght of the pause, distance from start, time since last pause and so on. Althought I don't need so many informations it would be nice to know where did I stopped and for how long. Now I have just "paused time" value. So why not to add markers similar to lap ones but with pause symbol ("||") to let us know. I know that this is maybe not so important to many people so it would be nice to have an option to hide those markers as well as lap ones. Because I am not so interested in lap info for example.

You're right. But it's a waste of time on such requests, since they don't fix key errors here, and people have been asking for years to add something new and nothing. CA is the weakest bike app I've ever seen. It can't do anything and you can function just as well without it. The errors and requests I've reported have the status "solved" even though nothing has been done, e.g. the moving POI error, the lack of languages, the CA not working error on Android. Everything marked solved :))) Embarrassing.

Unfortunately you're right. It was kinda naive to ask for such feature if people are begging for nutrition/drink reminders for years (last time 5 days ago) but it was not done to this day. And it's funny to see as they decide who they will reply to and who not. I made this post 1 day ago and it was only you who replied. An user called Sven made a post about POI's 10 hours ago and 2 hours later they answered to him and even thanked him for his ideas. On other hand, Sven's post about too large datafield labels also remained without any response. Very interesting. It seems like they will not answer if they don't consider your idea as interesting enough. What a crappy approach.
But to be honest, this was rather an experiment because I am very tempted to buy Coros Dura navigation. Last few updates from HH didn't bring anything interesting for me and when I see their approach, it's almost clear that I am going to switch. Dura is maybe not so advanced as Karoo, but it's also not spreading this stupid hype (like "look Chris Froome uses our product", we are producing "best bike computer in the world") and I believe that they will make it really good after few updates... -
Hi Jiri,
Thank you so much for sharing your suggestions. I really appreciate your input and understand how important these improvements are. I've passed your feedback along to our product team, and they will definitely consider your insights as we work on enhancing the map data and the dashboard. Your suggestions align with our future plans, and while I can't provide a specific timeline, I want you to know that your thoughts are valued and taken seriously.

Hello Aishwarya, thanks for you answer, I appreciate it. As I already mentioned above it would be nice to give users some control over what they see in dashboard and what not. And as I also mentioned I am not very interested in laps, I set auto laps just for sake of curiosity. For me it's way more interesting to see how many times and where I stopped during my ride.
So please consider adding another button (with eye symbol for example) with expandable tab with buttons to show/hide laps, pauses, recorded climbs and maybe other items which can come in future. I mean the same expandable tab as you use for choosing map type.
