Improved Livetracking extension development request

Adding features to HH's Livetracking has been a very low priority and it's not fully developed, particularly history of route taken rather than just a data point of current location.

I'm putting this out as a request to any developer to create a fully-baked extension. 

Perhaps others can add feature requests here?
