the final part of the route disappears

When loading a long route, the final part of the track disappears. The file loads fine; it's not corrupted. Before pressing Play, the missing portion appears slightly darker than the rest of the track. What's the cause? Is the route too long? This doesn't happen with the breadcrumb feature.
