Reupping my comment from some time ago, I still appreciate the constant work that goes into refining the Karoo software from the Hammerhead team. However, I was watching this GPLama video recently: https://youtu.be/coA5FlkB_ro

Even if I don’t completely agree with his verdict, I think GPLama has a point: Especially after the acquisition by SRAM, adding support for TyreWiz and the SRAM AXS website (plus adding shifting information to the .fit files) should really be added sooner than later, as that would remove clear competitive disadvantages over especially Garmin. So please, Hammerhead team, let all this sink in and act accordingly.

Was *really* crossing my fingers a TyreWiz data field would drop in todays update.  Sadly no.  About to embark on a 4 day cycling trip in Moab this weekend and have to pack my Garmin Fenix watch to get those data fields.  Which means it's one more thing I need to wear, look at, charge, start/stop.  Still holding my breath it happens maybe Q2 this year but K2's pretty face will only last so long; depends on the other 2 companies and what they release this year, but both support TyreWiz. HammerHead, if you're listening, please get a TyreWiz data field.  It will give one more reason for people to either buy or stick with your product when Wahoo or Garmin have new releases.

    Hi,

Any update on this feature request? My tyrewiz has been useless in last 8 months after I changed my computer from Garmin to Karoo 2. It would be good at least giving us some ETA for this feature request as the request has been open more than 2 to 3 years now.

I started the thread more than 2 years ago, and it was one of the reasons for selling my Karoo 1 and not moving on to 2. Adding support for an Ant+ sensor should be a matter of minutes...
I am now with a 1030 plus, everything is fantastic except its screen and navigation, where Karoo is much better.
I was hoping that the purchase of Karoo by SRAM would mean getting compatibility with tyrewiz quickly, but no.
Now they're going to put out the 1040, and I hope hammerhead puts out a karoo3 with a bit more screen and less bezels, we'd have a good fight.

But I have Tyrewiz on my bikes and I can't live without them anymore...

I am interested in tyrewiz too … I guess if we don’t ask, you don’t know there is a want out there.

Interesting addition to the Settings page in the Karoo Dashboard: Pressure.

I want to read this as „support for TyreWiz incoming“ 🤩

So weird @Daniel. I don’t see that on mine. Maybe they’re rolling it out.

Hi All, Yes, the Tyrewiz integration is on the way and currently going through the ATG testing. If all goes well, it should be released tomorrow.

@Ali, thanks for confirming. I‘m really happy to get TyreWiz support now 😃

@Justin, seems so. I just did a forced reload of Dashboard and the option is still there, but as Ali confirmed it‘s prepared for being released.

Question now is, do you update to gain Tyrewiz but lose Di2, or hold out for Hammerhead and Shimano to work something out (potentially indefinitely)?

@Ali - Thank you! That's wonderful news. Any chance we could see support for the Garmin Edge Remote? That's the one major thing left that I'm still missing.

@James - I think the answer is sell all the DI2 gear and switch to eTap/AXS :) This is poor anticompetitive behavior by Shimano.

Neil, no plans to integrate the Edge remote as of now. Although it is ANT+, we haven't researched it yet, so I can't confirm it will work with Karoo or not. Online searches show it works only with the Edge devices.

@Ali, thanks for the update and the numerous new functions to the HH team. Great work! Adding TyreWiz sensors and the new data fields worked just fine.
Is it planned, however, to support that sensors can broadcast a warning if current pressure gets below minimum pressure (as i.e. configured in the SRAM AXS app) ?

The Tyrewiz update is fantastic so far. Would it be possible to set up a single field that displays status for both tires? As unreliable as the ConnectIQ Garmin app is, it was nice to be able to view both pressures in a single field.

You can use the Graphical Data field for the Tire pressure sensor to see both the Front and Rear Tire pressure in a single Data field:

    Hi Hari,

Thank you for the prompt response! You're correct of course, and I am currently using it that way, though that particular field instance consumes an entire row. What I meant to say was it would be nice to have the option to view both pressures within a single minimum size field (wasting minimum screen real estate), like in the enclosed photo. Sorry for not being clearer.

Thanks for clarifying this to me. As of now, such a Data field is not available on Karoo 2 to show both Front and Rear Tire pressure in a single Data field. But I have added your vote for this improvement request while forwarding it to the Product team.

2 pressure in one data field would be great indeed! Also as i am using bar as units i wished i had not only one but two digits ! Thanks

Hi @Ali just bought the tyrewiz and it works fine, However a small request:

the readout when using Bar is wrong.

Instead of saying 7.54 bars it says 745 on the display. is this an issue you could fix?

    Hi Christoffer,

I just checked our recent release and all the units seems to be working fine. Could you please check if the units under the Measurement settings are set correctly to Bar? If it is, then please share the images with us by raising a ticket here: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/requests/new
