Offline route building based on the type of ride.

I would like to be able to plan my ride (offline) or ride to a destination based on the type of ride. I believe at the moment it suits more road cyclists, but I mostly ride gravel and MTB. And additionally, it is very unpredictable.

I know I can to it on my mobile, on the dashboard then import it via hotspot, but that is not the point (in my opinion) of having a unit with huge maps onboard.

  Hi Marcin,

  The Route creation on the Karoo is designed in such a way that the default route created will be Hybrid which is like Road but more likely to take cycleways, trails, paths depending on the ease of navigation.

  I fully agree with you here Marcin!

   

  Making routes navigating on Karoo (without the dashboard) we should have the option e.g. 

  - for roadcycling to exclude dirt roads/ gravel roads

  - avoid highways / avoid ferry

  - "go back to start" option via same way or shortest way 

  - for MTB riders that  "follow roads" can be unclicked 

  etc etc.
