Automatically restart route & recording after switching off

First of all, I wish you all a Happy New Year!

If I follow a route and then take a lunch break, for example, I would like to switch off the Karoo. If I continue the journey, then I switch the Karoo on again and now it should automatically continue the route & recording. He should do this until I personally stop the trip.

While driving:
The trip data on the display show the entire route.
After completing the trip, you would have a single file of the complete route.
Of course, I could start the Karoo, but that costs the battery unnecessarily.

PS: My Garmin can do that by the way ;-)
