Feature request: LAP extended functionality

Is it possible implement LAP by position ? 

It is useful for circuit races to have automatic LAP count.

In general LAP should function in these option modes

1) LAP by button (current version)

2) LAP by Position (GPS position one lap every time you pass from coordinates in which you press lap)

3) LAP by Time

4) LAP by Distance

  Hi Raffaele,

  The lap button flags a lap in the FIT file and it can be used in data visualization tools like Strava or Golden Cheetah. Lap data will summarize averages within that interval such as average power, cadence, speed, time, distance, etc.

  This is a good suggestion, and an idea we love. I will definitely forward your suggestion to the Software Team.
