Latest firmware causing problems - 1.113
AnsweredI am wondering if there is a testing/validation process inside Hammerhead, looks to me the frequent firmware updates are all in a rush, as it appears you don't even test/validate them before you push out to public. Are you relying on the users to be your free beta tester?
The latest firmware introduced more problems than addressing any issues:
1. The "Auto Shut-off" is not working. The unit is supposed to turn off itself after 5 minutes of inactivity, with the latest update, I realized it won't. I charged to full and set a timer (one hour) to listen to music, overnight it is totally dead, no battery at all;
2. The Bluetooth became unstable with the latest firmware. It was used to be flawless, but now the music cuts off every few seconds and then resumes. Very annoying. It appears only happen when I turn off the display but need more time to verify.
This is a replacement unit and I was happy with it. The first unit had intermittent connection issues with all my sensors. After back and forth emailing the customer service, I finally got a new unit that worked great. Now the new firmware started to having issues. I haven't tried riding with the new firmware yet, hopefully no other issues.
Karoo has so much potential and could be a great bike computer, I just hope you can do something internally before you losing more customers. You can't keep disappointing same people.
