Hi,
Since the Karoo has only 10gB total RAM, when riding on a long trip, you need to download region one after all, delete previous one to free up space.

It can easely become a nightmare especially in a foreign country: How can you guess the name of the upcoming region??? The names of the regions are nothing but obvious to foreigners.
My suggestion:
A preview of the country divided in region with main information ... A pin telling your position, eventually your route if you have planned one. Then click on a region to download it (or delete it). It should be different color for the region you have already downloaded.

  On a related note, do Mapbox do a light weight map version?  For instance on my G****N the whole of Europe is about 9GB which was quite useful when travelling through multiple countries last summer.  We had nowhere we could have downloaded multiple GB files to update.

  A minimum thing that to do could be easely done on the dash board:

  • Showing the borders and name of the regions
  • Eventually the ability to preview the one you already have downloaded and a easy way to download others you want

  Following this one. Need a overview of the regions specific to the location where I'm going for my holiday.
  Have to google every section hammerhead is providing right now.
