Known Bugs and Issues

Here’s our list of known critical bugs for the Karoo. The software team is aware of each of these and is working through them alongside the feature requests that are valuable to our customers. We’ll be keeping this list up to date as bugs are fixed, and adding any new bugs that may be discovered.
As always, please use the forums or our support email address to report any additional bugs you encounter.

- Elevation/Grade data is inaccurate on Climber for some sections: No Known workaround yet. This issue is caused due to bad map data and we are working towards fixing this issue.
- Unable to import or sync some RWGPS routes to the dashboard/Karoo 2- Temporary workaround is to export the GPX file from RWGPS and import the GPX file to the Dashboard. The issue is being investigated.
- FIT files of the Routes exported from RWGPS cannot be imported to the Dashboard- The issue is being investigated. Temporary workaround is to import the URL of the Route or sync the pinned Routes from RWGPS directly.
- Unable to import certain GPX Routes to the Dashboard with copyright tags and invalid code on the GPX file: Temporary workaround is to upload the GPX file to platforms
- Karoo reports incorrect time on boot sometimes causing wrong ride dates in Dashboard and other third party platforms: The issue is under investigation. Temporary workaround is to connect Karoo to Wi-Fi before starting a ride.
- Map page zoom out automatically during the turn events: This happens when the “Switch to map” feature is turned ON and if the rider is on the map page. The temporary workaround is to disable the “Switch to map” feature.
- WhatsApp calls shown as Unknown Number on Karoo for Android phones: We are working towards a solution to this problem.
