Auto Uploads of rides via Bluetooth

Will there be a feature for Auto Uploads of the ride via Bluetooth or Cell/data services?

For Myself and the 3 friends with these units we finish a ride, then turn our phone to a hotspot then upload the ride.  I'm no programmer but was hoping there was something that would auto-upload via Bluetooth to the phone or via the cell/sim data card I have in the unit but so far the cell card only functions to allow the live tracking feature and nothing else that I'm aware of.

  As of now, we do not have immediate plans to work on cell phone integration or Bluetooth tethering of data on Karoo 1. We may add this to our upcoming development cycle but right now, we do not have a dedicated timeline to share with you.

  In my case, upload via 3g works perfectly.

  I agree that auto uploads via Bluetooth pairing ought to be a feature.  I do not recall ever having a problem with this with the Garmins that I have used over the years.

  The Hammerhead is the best and most sophisticated head unit I've ever used...but it REALLY needs to be able to upload rides without a WiFi connection.  I've had a few Garmins and most recently a Wahoo, and they both upload the rides immediately without the need for a connection.  It's kind of confusing that such a phenomenal product has such a seemingly antiquated and easily reparable flaw.  Is this going to be fixed any time soon?
