Dark Theme
PlannedPersonally I find the dark theme (Black background with white letters) very difficult to read especially with shades on. It's almost like a Garmin night setting, anyone else agree, Hammerhead will need some feedback if others agree. If it's just me fair enough ;).

Hi David,
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us. We have received similar insights from a few other users regarding the customizable theme, where the users can choose the option according to their choice.
We have collected the feedback and passed on to the team to look into it further. -
Same thought here. It would be in favour to have the option to choose between a daytime and nighttime modus, like we had before in previous releases.
Also, it is hard to know if the RIDE is being recorded. Paused or not Paused??
The blinking time indicator is with the vague grey colour not that visible at all, when the sun is shining as well.
Before we had the IN Ride text wich also had a red/orange vd green colour. That was much better and clear for interpretation.
So, hereby the request to move this software feature back into the current software layout please.
And for the GUI last but not least, already remarked by a few, can you please CENTER the LABEL for each FIELD. Cosmetic a must for clearness. At least in Europe people are used to have this.Than, in the current release the QUICK MENU has vanished. Why??
Oh boy, I fought so hard to get back in the feature in the Quick Menu to TOGGLE "Turn by Turn Directions" ON/OFF during a ride. And now it is gone again.
Please make this available via a QUICK MENU.
I want to make use of the TBT when needed, but also when it suits me beter during a ride, make only use of the MAP guidance with more room for ride figures like SPEED, Power, Heart rate, Temperature, cadence, Avg Speed etc.
Thanks, Alexander -
Quite agree with comments above. Today I reduced the number data fields to hopefully increase the text size. Nope, same silly font size, no good if you need glasses to read! I totally agree with Alexander's comment about centring.
Also today I wanted to stop the current route which used to be bottom right button, Centre Icon, route then then delete, I am not sure I can see this now as the icons are so small.
Please consider those of us who's eyes are not 20/20. My distance vision is fine btw.
I would like to roll back to the previous version, loved it. With this I am now not liking my Karoo and I am considering getting my ancient Garmin out, at least I can read the display!

2 months have passed and and several updates have come and gone, and still no word on adding back the option for a light theme. I cannot read the dark theme screen labels when riding in the sun with sunglasses. even without sunglasses the profile headings are hard to read. The screen display was much better with light theme. The only time the dark theme works for me is while riding on my trainer, which kind of defeats the purpose of the Karoo 😉
Please return the light theme. At the same time it would help to give the option to change font size of the profile headings headings.

I was hoping there would be some customisation of the computer theme in the latest update but nothing seems to have changed.
I know the light theme will use a bit more battery but it looks much nicer, the dark theme doesn't look as good.
Also, can I request the grade to be displayed to with to 1 decimal place, on a flat fast ride grades of less than 1% are important.

I'll reiterate that in TRUE darkness, in the dead of night, no city lights, no moon...riding with a super-bright LED dynamo headlight lighting up the road in front of me...Karoo's screen is WAY too bright, even with dark mode and with the brightness turned all the way down! The screen is the brightest thing in the environment, and it kind of messes up your night vision briefly after looking at it.

Have just received my Karoo2 and still within the 45 day trial period. This is a big feature for me to have, Day should be white background and black text which is much easier to read with sunglasses on. Given this is based on Android it's surprising this isn't already a feature.
Can Admin please provide an update?
