Choice of text justification
AnsweredHi,
Really like the update, I just have a comment on the fact that text now automatically right justifies in data fields. I completely understand the logic behind it as it means users will always know exactly where to look for the data they want and makes for more consistent filling of the space. However, for me, being able to choose whether to left or centre justify text would be incredibly useful. For smaller data fields (where two data fields are side by side) the right justification is fantastic, but on the wider fields (where there is just one field across the screen in a profile page) I end up with lots of empty space and all my data feeling cramped on the right hand side of the device. Therefore, my ideal solution to this would be being able to choose in each field whether to centre or right justify the text.
Another nice feature for personal customisation of the user experience would be being able to choose whether to turn on a grid around the data fields in each profile. Again, I understand why they are not there (creating a sleeker look) but if I have two time fields (for example ride time and time of day) side by side the numbers end up running together and I end up needing to really take my time looking at it to take in the information. I think having a grid line between the fields would make separating the fields easier at a glance so users can spend more time focused on the roads.
I completely understand if these things can't be implemented, but I figured I would mention them as there's no harm in asking for features and it would definitely improve my user experience having these options.
Many thanks,
Andy
