Will Karoo 2 support side-loading Android apps?

Will Karoo 2 support side-loading Android apps? Will this process be more straightforward than Karoo, for example with either Play Store or similar loader already installed as an app on Karoo 2.

  Hey Tim. We do not plan to have a play store integration or officially support the side loading of Third-party apps. However, you are free to play around if you are experienced with side-loading on Android.

  Third party apps can do one of three things:

  Work

  Not work

  Brick the device

  Sure would be nice to know the odds

  Doesn't everyone use developer access to the bootloader, for everyday use?

  As far as I understood this vague answer, you are is going to keep ability to download and install any APK and an app icon will be shown in the main menu as it happens now, right?
