New to Hammerhead Karoo
AnsweredAll strava segments won't sync - have tried previous advice on here of resetting / logging out etc to no avail and it still wont work... Also and importantly, I wondered if the exact same sync system is used on the Karoo 2.
Is there a way to see the times achieved of completed segments without uploading to Strava like you can on a wahoo device?

I like very much the implementation of segments that karoo has made, but yesterday I have the first problem with that. Our group was attempting a new record on a segment, a long one with 60 kms, and when we were in the middle then my karoo said you are no longer on segment and the it quit. Other teammates with garmin have no problems with that segment, and we were doing it together. I have pre ordered a karoo2 and I'm a bit concerned about this.

Hi @Adam, @Ruben,
Sorry to hear about the concern with the Strava Segments not working as expected. We would love to help you with this.
Could you please share the Strava link of your ride to support@hammerhead.io, so we can investigate this.
Please Note: Strava seems to have restrictions when it comes to displaying downhill segments on cycling computers. The segments should have a percentage of more than 1% for it to sync with the Karoo or any cycling computers. -
I reviewed in detail the activity and the segment, to try to send all details, and I could figure out that Strava has made a little mistake on the segment and just mapped a drive through some buildings (no street there or road), a few meters, but the precision of the karoo dropped me off the segment. Garmin seems to be a little more "permissive" or less precise and my teammates where not dropped off the segment on their units. Strava shows me the time and segment as complete after the ride, but I lost the live reference on the karoo for the rest of the segment. Don't know what is better then, a very very precise gps unit, or a little less one for strava segments.

The red line is the strava segment, and the green line the real road.
Sorry for the mistake, it seems not to be problem of the unit itself.
