Hammerhead has died on me

This is a bit of a rant as I'm so frustrated with the awful customer service that Karoo are providing. My Hammerhead died on me over a week ago even though it had 40% charge left. I tried to perform a force reset but nothing seems to work. It is just over a year old and still under warranty. I have emailed 3 times since and I have had replies telling me it will be dealt with within 48 hours at the most. I'm still waiting. I really appreciate that Covid has interrupted normal time lines but if it says the following on its website it really ought to honour it.
"Reliability is our bedrock principle, so that your equipment never gets in your way. Karoo also has industry’s leading customer support should you ever need it."
This is next to Karoo 2 description so my advice to all is Caveat Emptor because what I've experienced so far does not ring true at all. Rant over!
