Still having battery issues with Karoos?

 I know this has been rehashed multiple times, but I didn't find any recent answers.  My original Karoo, with wifi and cellular off, HR, speed and cadence connected, dies after a little over one hour of use.  It has the latest software also.   I have heard that a hard reset might help, but before I lose everything on it, I wanted to see if there is anything else to try.
