Surprise me function

Hi, I wonder if a surprise me route is on the near navigation roadmap. It's a function I used the most on my old garmin. Especially in unknown terrain. Regards, Klaasjan

  @ Klassjan: "Surprise me function" or something similar to it is something already we are scoping out on Karoo 2 but this may take few sprints to materialize post the shipping.
  What we do not want to do is to replicate exactly what our competitors are doing and we want to make it unique in our own ways. This is the reason why it is taking time at the implementation level. Right now, we are not committing ourselves to a dedicated timeline for its implementation.

  That sounds good, i let me suprise me by HH. 

  The surprise me of / round trip will be a valuable function to the Karoo. 

  I understand you want do it different as your competitors, but if the way they do it, is good, don't change it to much.

  Hi Hari do you have an update about the surprise me function. I'm going on a holiday trip and forced to take my Garmin edge 1000 with me to guide me through unknown terrain.

  @Klaasjan: Sorry to say but "Surprise me function" is not in our immediate plans as of now. We agree that this could be a valuable addition and we hope to see this feature on Karoo 2 somewhere down the line.

  Hi Hari,

  Thank you for your quick reply. Sorry to hear that the "surprise me function" not on the roadmap at short notice. I think it is a valueable addition to the Karoo if you use the Karoo in unknow terrain. Now I have to use my old grumpy garmin edge 1000. Hopefully HH will put this option with alsmost the same value as the superb climber function imho, higher on the roadmap for this year..

  Hi Hari,

  I know that the 'surprise me function' isn't in your immediate plans right now. But, I would really like to see the option added. I am really hoping the function will be added in the future, of course in a HH style!
