About the last upgrade... Maps problems!
AnsweredHello support,
I don't know if it's problem of the firmware or the maps update, but there are a lot of problems and glitches with the new maps.
I really don't like how you handle now bridges and tunnels. Please look at this image: the road with red sign continues as a tunnel, like the cicleway, but it seems close. It's only an example, but if you show tunnels as "no way roads" without a track it's impossible to understand if I can go in that way or not. (and there is a bad rappresentation of the cycleway, another tunnel).

Same problem in the second pic, but inverted: the cicleway stops, the road continues, but they are both tunnels.

As example of glitches please look at the last pic, where the way is "broken" at the red arrows and there are wrong rappresentations of the roads (green frames).

If you need to understand how is the map for real, this is the OSM link:

Thank you

Hi Abhishek, there aren't routing issues, it's only a graphical problem. As I said, if I'm following a track I have no problems, but if I'm riding "free" I have problem to understand if the route continues or ends because it's not rendered.
Looking at OSM it seems that you don't render routes with layer = -1 (or maybe all negatives values)

Hi Piergiorgio, Thanks for your input. Indeed it was a routing issue, it would have been even more frustrating for users. We have identified this as a bug, and possibly for some time now. We will try and get this prioritised if there's an easy way to do it, or if there is no long term plan to our map elements
