Anyone else growing frustrated waiting for their Karoo2?
AnsweredHi there,
Im growing increasingly frustrated with Hammerhead and their customer services team.
I made the final payment for my Karoo2 over 2 weeks ago and in spite of several emails to the support team still do not know when I am going to receive my unit.
The standard response seems to be "soon". This is the response I received today "Your final order for Karoo 2 is intact. We are aiming to ship your unit as soon as possible and you will be getting a separate email including the tracking details as soon as it has been shipped. We are almost there!!".
I know they are a small company and can tell they are struggling with the logisitics around this product launch but come on guys! The units were originally due to be shipped in October!?!
This is rapidly taking the shone off of the whole purchase experience.

Thanks all at Hammerhead.
It arrived yesterday. I had no issues with setup, sensor pairing, update or charging and it imported routes and config from the web account. Thanks to the community posts, I was made aware of the initial difficulty with removing and fixing the device to the bracket and so was able to practice the technique and can now speedily add and remove it with easy.
I really can't believe how very simple this device is to configure and use. I was adamant that I did not want to buy a Garmin but was still anxious that I would end up with something like a Bryton but I had nothing to worry about.
This unit is fantastic.

Hi Ali,
Setting up the device was very easy !
I did yesterday my first ride with the Karoo 2.
About 10km the turn-by-turn banner was about 500m before were I actually was on the map.
The position on the map was correctly.
I made a GPX track by my own on the internet with afstandmeter.nl
With kind regards,
Stefaan
