Feature Request (Karoo 2): An option to disable touch screen during "manual pause"
Hi,
I'm using my Karoo 2 on a Trekking bike. To me, this bike type is multi-purpose: Bike tours (Karoo for navigation) and "normal" everyday stuff like grocery shopping (Karoo only for odometer). So I always have my Karoo mounted on the bike for any ride.
When I go grocery shopping, I usually visit multiple markets with some distance between them. To me, this is all one "ride" with pauses while inside a market. So I go to "manual pause" mode. Of course, I don't want to keep the Karoo mounted on the bike while I'm in the market. Unfortunately, unmounting and mounting without touching the screen is quite difficult, at least if you use the lanyard, which I do. Also, carrying it in a pocket often results in some unwanted touches. There have been multiple occasions where I accidentally stopped the "ride".
I think it would be helpful to disable the touch screen completely while in "manual pause" mode. Of course, this is not for everyone, so there should be an option switch for it in the device settings. Also, it should _not_ cover the "auto pause" mode, because there you are more likely to want to do things on the Karoo.
In case this option is already there, please tell me where I can activate it, I could not find it.
Thanks,
Markus
