I just got my Karoo 2 and agree the alerts are way to loud. My previous Karoo 1 was much better. I don't know what the difference is between old and new under audio alerts, I had hoped the old used the audio from the Karoo 1 but it doesn't seem to. A quieter mode would be a very desirable addition for me.

  karoo 2 or karoo "3" which they want to call just karoo?

  Hey, Keith & Daniel.

  Thanks for sharing your feedback on the audio alerts on the Karoo 2! While it would have been ideal to allow the Karoo 2 and the new Karoo to carry forward the tones used on the Karoo 1, however, since the hardware is different on each unit, their native tones as well will be different as well.
