Karoo for motorcycle riding on a Autobahn

I have a Karoo 3 and would like to use it for motorcycle riding. Unfortunately, I can't plan with using highways. I've now tried the sideload extension and installed Firefox. I want to use Firefox to route using Google Maps. Unfortunately, Google Maps can't find my current position. Why is this?

Are there other ways to plan trips over highways, which isn't possible with a bicycle?

  you want to use bike navigation while riding a motorcycle? why not use your phone?

  Same reason why I use a Hammerhead for navigation while riding my bicycle instead of a phone! ;-)
