Feature Request: Add an option to hide the map screen when no route is loaded
While the map screen can still be useful even without a route loaded — for orientation, exploring, or checking surroundings — not every rider needs or wants it visible during free rides. Currently, the map screen is always included in the screen rotation, regardless of whether navigation is active or not.
It would be ideal to have a configurable option within each ride profile to automatically hide the map screen when no route is loaded. This keeps the ride interface clean and focused when navigation isn't needed, while still allowing those who want constant map access to keep it enabled.
Feature Request:
Please add a setting in the ride profile to conditionally show or hide the map screen based on whether a route is loaded.
Benefits:
Gives riders full control over their screen experience.
Reduces distraction and clutter when navigation isn’t being used.
Supports different riding styles (e.g., exploration vs. training).
Keeps screen navigation lean and purposeful.
