SRAM groupset integration
HI, is the SRAM groupset integration (pairing) only possible for the newest SRAM RED, or also older SRAM Red/Force generations?
Same question for controlling the Hammerhead. Is this only with the bonus buttons on the new SRAM Red, or are there also also possibilities to control the Hammerhead from an 'external' device/control?

Groupset integration works with SRAM across the board. Bonus buttons on new red/force can be programmed, but shift paddles cannot (except shifting/dropper).Satellite blips from SRAM can be added to control the Hammerhead, and I *think* some wireless remotes (bluetooth/wifi) can be paired, but I'm not sure.

Hi all,
- SRAM groupsets that support data transmission via AXS are compatible with the Hammerhead Karoo. If you are using an earlier generation SRAM Red or Force that can connect through AXS, it should also pair successfully with your Karoo device. Please note that eTap (the predecessor to AXS) can connect to the Karoo to share data, but it does not support control via Blips.
- Regarding your question about external control of the Karoo: aside from wireless Blips, there are currently no other external devices that can control Karoo functionalities. Wireless Blips allow you to perform various actions such as changing pages, toggling screens, and making selections. However, this control capability is not available with wired Blips. Wired Blips are functional only when connected with the AXS BlipBox or when integrated into compatible AXS controllers.

Note that this is apparently only possible with the latest Karoo 3. As a happy Karoo 2 owner for years I just purchased a new SRAM Force equipped bike and one thing I was looking forward to was getting groupset integration which was always denied with Shimano Di2. Only to find that I would need to upgrade the bike computer anyway to get support for the programmable bonus buttons... what a bummer. Seems like some upselling trick since it's still the AXS protocol and I don't see why the Karoo 2 wouldn't be able to handle those signals. Very disappointing...
