I bought a new hammerhead karoo 3, but it won't update (I tried resetting it to factory settings, but it didn't work), and I'm also having trouble pairing it with my phone.

  Bought a new Karoo 3 in Russia.
  Initial firmware couldn’t download updates or maps.
  Phone hotspot with VPN did not help.
  Installed Happ VPN client on Karoo via ADB, imported my VPN configuration (X8), connected directly on the device.
  Firmware updated successfully, after that maps also downloaded.
