Map just a white screen

My Karoo no longer shows maps. When I switch to the map screen in my profiles all I can see is a tracking line on a white background. I have no maps at all. Worked perfectly well until recently and I have not consciously changed anything in my profiles so something of a mystery. Anyone experienced and solved the same problem?
