Alerts too loud on my new Karoo 3

Ive just taken delivery of my new K3 and cannot believe there is no control of alert volume. It's far too loud. Old version was fine. New one annoys everyone. Have to mute it as my cycling companions can't stand the noise either. Please tell me this is under review as I can't see me keeping it long in its present form!!!

  @Hugh This has been complained about since the new Karoo was launched. SRAMerhead made some modifications, but never addressed the problem specifically. And, it appears that is either not fixable dur to hardware restrictions, or isn't a priority for the company!

  Thanks @Steve for yr reply. Since posting ive read other comments and it seems likely that HH are unable fix via updates. However it shouldn't get hard to provide ulriple different frequency beeps and also the ability to restrict them to single beeps. There are 3 settings...all to king and loud imo. Atb. H

  I returned my Karoo when only the old tones were available. When they introduced the new tones, I bought a new one and kept it. It is still rather loud, but the perceived loudness is acceptable when out on the road.

  You can install extension https://github.com/itxsvv/kxradar
  And change sound duration and frequency, it will help a bit
