Recording data sets.

Hi! Garmin let's you choose between "smart" and 1 second recording intervals, SRM is known for their extra data recording which many "pros" and coaches seem to like if you can justify the price for their PC units, but what interval does the K2 record at? Also can this be changed to record at a higher frequency? Thanks!
