Hi KH, It is not possible to leave a copy on the device. The account is sync on Dashboard and Karoo, so any actions taken will be replicated on both ends same time.

This is not very wise (did I say stupid?)

After 3 or 4 years, I will have maybe 100 routes and 300 rides… it completely fills the storage on the device.

There should be an option to keep routes and rides on the dashboard only and possibility to download any specific routes on the device on demand.

Now I need to delete and lose my old rides and routes… 😒

If you have an account on RWGPS or Garmin Connect, or similar, you can have all your rides (and routes) stored there. Then you can delete whatever you want on HH Dashboard.

    Joël,

Indeed. I could also buy a Garmin bike GPS…

Rides are uploaded on Strava so it is ok.

But routes, frankly, you should be able to have them on the dashboard but not on the device and download on demand. For instance when you plan a route in another country but only use it a few times a year. Why force people to use a third party to store their data?

    Regards,

I don’t disagree with you, KH.
    Your comment makes sense.
