Komoot - Why not sync with hiking ?

I often go hiking and suddenly notice that Komoot is NOT syncing a route marked as 'hiking'. All 'bike routes' work.
Is that on purpose?

  Hi Gerald,

  This is the expected behaviour as the dashboard will only pick routes that are tagged under cycling.

  It's a shame because it used to be and I often have my karro2 with me on hiking tours in the mountains ;-)

  I had the same idea - it would be nice to handle hiking tours over the "profiles".

  Hammerhead annouced a complete revision of the route-management - I don´t know if this is still on the road-map.
