Losing ride by save failure
Lost 4 rides in recent weeks. I think it's failed because where i finish my ride is very close to the edge of the wifi signal and this is screwing things up. No evidence directly, just anecdotal.
I have switched up load to Manual from Automatic.
Anybody else have issues related to this?

I don't have this issue, but I'm wondering what exactly fails. I guess you still see the ride on the Karoo (as that does not require WiFi to work), but it is missing on the dashboard?
If you would want to save the ride, you should be able to find the FIT file on the device itself. This would allow for example uploading to Strava.

Hi Michiel, I lose the ride completely. The saving process goes to the "whirly circles" and never completes. It's not recovered on restart either and certainly does not appear on the dashboard. It's just gone.
So I have:
1. Added the TSS field so I can note the session when I finish.
2. Only tick the save ride when well within the WIFI signal range. If the FIT file was there then the Karoo would show the ride. I'll have a look though, thanks for that.
As a side note, my rides only upload to the dashboard when I restart the Karoo these days when before an update they would upload flawlessly.
I'm thinking of doing a factory reset which is probably a good idea at this point. -
Couple of updates:
1. Factory reset of the Karoo2 fixed the issue of saved rides not uploading properly to the dash board automatically once saved.
2. I have lost several rides recently. However I haven't tried putting the Karoo into developer mode and then seeing if the FIT file has saved but is simply not showing up on the Karoo and hence not uploading to dash board. Worth a try if it happens again.
