Stop return to home and no DI2 battery notifications?
I had an issue with my Karoo 2 today. When entering a route, I somehow accidentally hit the 'return to hone' button. No problem I thought, I'll just enter my route and all good... Nope. The return to home overcomes (?) the route and as far as I could see? There's no way to turn it off. I had to completely end the ride and then restart it to stop the incessant beeping and be able to route to my destination. I can end a route without stopping a ride, why can't I end a return to home? Also, I recieved no low battery notifications for my di2 as I did with my old Garmin. It's entirely my fault it went dead 20mi into a 70mi ride that I had to then do In the small ring, but a notification might have avoided the issue.

Route to home (and other ad-hoc routes) should cause the appearance of a top bar with a red X button on its right to clear the route. If this didn't happen for you that's definitely a bug.
My own preference would be for HH to ditch the bar which takes up valuable map space, and move the destination name and ability to clear the route to the quick action menu, an actionable notification, or something. So many cleaner ways to do it imo.
There are low battery alerts for sensors but I think they occur at 20% and 10% or something like that, so yours was probably too far gone when you started to get an alert. Could probably be improved, maybe a persistent system notification?

Thanks for the reply. I saw no 'x' and I did look for it. I didn't want to break up the ide into 2 of I could avoid it. As for the di2? Maybe I was unclear, I never got a low battery notification which probably should have occurred several rides before this one. At the end of the day, it's my fault and Im assuming that I failed to completely charge it the last time. It should have lasted well past the end of my road season. I don't know if this has anything in common because I dot know if there will be a notification, but my Assioma's went dead a few weeks ago and I never saw a notification about them either. Still ultimately my fault.

Try see if you can replicate it. If you can, definitely contact HH and file a bug report.
And I wouldn't say it's your fault, there should be (and there are!) low battery notifications. I just got several for my 4iiii before finally caving in and changing the battery today.
Perhaps you missed them or maybe it's a bug.
