Where to update elevation data?

Where is elevation data taken from? I wish to update it if possible, but not sure where to. Is it from OpenStreetMaps or elsewhere? Because I looked in the former and there seems to be correct (looking at specific issue).

  Elevation data in a route (made or imported in the HH dashboard) you mean? That has been a long standing bug, the elevation information is completely wrong. Often it is double the actual elevation.

  If it is about elevation data in your ride, this is measured with a barometric sensor. In my experience the recorded elevation data seems correct.

  Yeah, that's a problem that Hammerhead is addressing sooner or later (hopefully). Perhaps is related, who knows. I mean the actual map data that is shown during ride. For example, there is a short tunnel over the road and Karoo 2 goes berserk notifying me of a 40% 5m ascent and then a similar descent. I'd assume this elevation data comes from OpenStreetMap or some other source.
