BLE to ANT+ bridge?

Since not many mobile devices support ANT+ (looking at you, iOS), it'd be really cool if Karoo 2 could act like a bridge between BLE to ANT+. I'm talking about all sorts of turbo trainers where usually a mobile device is used to manage the training.

I guess it could be possible since Karoo 2 has both ANT+ and BLE capabilities. And if Hammerhead is not interested, could this be done by myself or community?

  There are cheap commercially available solutions already, like 4iiii's HRM strap.

  I know and there is also CABLE. But that's yet another gadget with yet another alkaline battery source one could avoid.
