Trailforks - yes, that old chestnut!
AnsweredWhen my Wahoo Bolt got smashed in a big off the new Bolt had just been released, but was out of stock. I didn't want a Garmin (just my personal preference) and so I looked around and came across the Karoo. I watched some YouTube videos on the Karoo 2 which had not long been released and it looked great.
Unfortunately I didn't even consider that it wouldn't include Trailforks integration, given I'd read that the original Karoo had it. I do road cycle, but I am predominantly a mountain biker and an e-mtb'er. Not having Trailforks integration has rendered by Karoo almost obsolete. It's a great little bike comp, but it's just not well suited at all for mountain bikers. In fact it's clearly and squarely aimed at road cyclists only. And before people say you can import GPX files, yes, I know. But you would be importing literally hundreds of them, even for a single location like Surrey Hills in the UK.
I've seen woolly commitment after woolly commitment to it coming at some point, but clearly mtb'ers are not the primary audience.
Today I ordered a Bolt 2, tomorrow my Karoo 2 will be on eBay.
Sorry Hammerhead, I tried to be patient, but it ran out.

Hi Mark, unfortunately there are discussion within the team but no concrete date for the integration. We know we want to do this, but other priorities are currently blocking the path for the Trailforks. I will push our team to consider this request once again and use your recent comments to upvote.

Hi y'all - pls throw all your votes on a single thread / feature request, otherwise it will be diluted in votes and never be considered, I'm afraid. This is what past HH practice has shown, unfortunately.
Thread with highest votes to finally integrate Trailforks (after 3+ yrs begging for it!) > https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/1260802074889-Really-hoping-Trailforks-gets-added-to-the-K2
