Sending routs offline from Compainon App to Karoo
The latest firmware update introduces a new feature called "Karoo Share."

This feature can be used to share tracks from Karoo to Karoo via Bluetooth. "Users must be in close proximity to each other to share tracks, as this feature relies on Bluetooth connectivity."
Now, sending tracks from the companion app to Karoo is a single step. The Companion App should have an offline mode, allowing you to upload a track from a GPX file, convert it to a Karoo-specific format, and then send it to Karoo via Bluetooth.
In this case, an offline map in the Companion App is not necessary. You can only manipulate the filename, as you can with the Garmin gimporter program if your smartphone is offline.
Of course, a full offline mode with offline maps will be better but above idea description only requires a built-in gpx -> Karoo_track_file_format converter.
@Hammerhead how long we will wait for offline mode?
And additional question. Is the Karoo_track_file_format is described and open? If yes, I believe the developers can make 3rd party app to just sending gpx to Karoo via BT offline.

What I was saying is that would be nice if hammerhead could profit of this to transfer it offline to karoo.
So far as I've tested only works with network. -
You provided a method for connecting your Suunto account to your Hammerhead account. This has nothing to do with connecting Karoo to the Suunto app. As you wrote, it only works when there's internet access. Lately, I've been having trouble downloading the Karoo ride to the Comp.App. It claims there's no internet connection and won't download the ride. I still maintain that it's the worst app on the market. I've used various navigations and apps, and I've never encountered anything as weak as the Comp.App. However, Karoo itself isn't bad.
