Karoo 2 iOS 26 - Unable to Connect Phone via Bluetooth
After upgrading to a new phone running iOS 26, I am no longer able to connect to my Karoo 2 via Bluetooth. I factory reset the Karoo multiple times and have tried following the steps for pairing a new phone. Each time it stops at the “Awaiting Connection” screen and just spins. The Karoo never shows up as a Bluetooth device to connect to on my iPhone.
I have tried all the tips for iOS 18 connectivity issues, as well as general Bluetooth connectivity fixes and nothing allows my Karoo 2 to show up as a device to connect to via Bluetooth on my iPhone. My Karoo 2 seems to be the only Bluetooth device my phone is unable to connect to. Interestingly enough, the Karoo 2 Bluetooth Audio connection works perfectly and pairs to my IPhone within seconds.
Both phone and Karoo 2 are running the most up to date OS. Previous iPhone used with my Karoo was running iOS 18 and was connected with no issues. I also tried connecting another iPhone on iOS 26 and encountered the same issue, which is leading me to think it’s the Karoo with the connectivity issues with the new iOS.
I realize Karoo 2 support is ending soon, but I really hope upgrading to iOS 26 is not bricking the Karoo 2. Not having a connected phone disables many of the great features I have loved on my Karoo and makes the device mostly unusable, outside of speed and cadence. I am hoping there is a fix in the works, or some trick not previously published to resolve this. Karoo devs, please help!!
