Built-in crash detection
Greetings,
Nothing against our realy welcome extensions like veloVigil (that only works using Polar H10 HRM) or SAiFELY (that needs a subscription plan), I hope that HH should provide us a built in crash detection mode like other known devices.
Since we now have options like route share or alarm alerts, things we users asked so many times for HH to implement, it´s time to make other built in stuff besides waiting that developers code them as an extensions.

The last update had the SAiFELY crash Extension which I thought I would download, only to find that after going all through the registration etc., that you had to pay. Extremely annoying! I want to know beforehand from HH that an App is a subscription, cost based, App and not included with HH!!!!!!
For a standard function such as Crash Detection, HH HAS to supply a solution as part of the standard functionality. Garmin has it and if HH wants to be number one for GPS devices then it has to provide this as a standard feature.
Extremely disappointed with HH allowing the SAiFELY extension. A standard GPS device function should NOT be offered as subscription option! -
Hello! I've developed an extension.
KSafe is a free, open-source safety extension for Karoo GPS devices. It monitors your ride and automatically alerts your emergency contacts if something goes wrong — crash detected, no check-in, or speed suddenly drops — and allows you to manually trigger an SOS from your ride screen.
Beyond emergency alerts, KSafe can also notify your contacts when you start or finish a ride, optionally including a real-time Karoo Live tracking link and send custom messages. This is a better alternative to the default email notification that Karoo already offers: KSafe sends it via WhatsApp, Telegram, or push notification, directly to your contacts' phones
