After SRAM Account migration nothing works
The CA app always redirects me to the sram website in my browser and asks me to log in. I'm fed up! Of course, I use a password manager so I don't have to remember my login details. It worked until yesterday, although it was a pain. Yesterday, it stopped logging in! After trying to log in, I got a message from the sram website - "not found!" I was on the train to the start of the route and couldn't load it into Karoo because there's no other option than syncing it online! Yes, this stupid device requires internet to load the route, even though they advertise it as internet-free! I can't simply upload the route via Bluetooth! I checked the password in the manager and logged in manually in the browser to my sram account. It logged in, and the password was correct. I tried logging in to CA again, and the same thing happened! Disgusted, I used the "forgot password" option and set a new password for the sram account. Unfortunately, it still says "not found." I tried to create a new account with my details - "unknown error" - which is fine, because the email address is used. I tried again with the new credentials for my SRAM account via the browser – it works there, but not in the app. Finally, I logged into the dashboard via the web with the same credentials, and there's no problem there! I loaded the GPX, enabled the hotspot on my phone, and Karoo synced the routes. Phew! I made it before the start, but that's not how it's supposed to be!
It still doesn't work today! I logged out of the CA app, checked everything via the web – it's fine there, but it doesn't work in the app! I uninstalled CA, reinstalled it – it doesn't work! This terrible app, which doesn't do anything, is taking away my desire to use this system! The constant blocking of GPX route transfer via Bluetooth is pointless! In critical situations, it won't let me download the route because there's no internet connection or the account isn't working!
The only remaining pain is using a computer via the dashboard just to load the route onto the device – otherwise, it's the old dashboard on my phone, internet connection, and hotspot. This is not a system for use in the field!
When will HH get smart and fix this?
