Backlight too high? Offset?
Hello,
Proud owner of a K3, did my first two rides two weeks ago and coming from a Garmin 1040 Solar, was also a pleasant experience.
I used auto brightness, and find it a bit too high (sunny day on the first day, cloudy rainy day on the second) burning battery.
I imagine if this wasn't better optimized is because it is complicated, but maybe if we had an option to have an offset on it, this way we could have the bennefits of the auto brightness but also fine tune it for better battery life.

I agree so i just use the manual setting and have it on quite low. This works fine for me. Since the day i have turned off auto and used the manual setting i've never even thought about it. I find the screen works ok in bright sunshine and a quite dark setting, even with navigation / map screen.

1. Currenty if I move slider, K3 turns off AutoMode :( It shoulds off, if I turning off it by switch not by moving slider.
2. In AutoMode if I change the slider, it should stay in AutoMode but with manually setting treshold (just setting by me on the slider). This treshold level can be treated as a max allowed backlight level, so, it can allow to decrease backlight level only.
3. Karoo should keep in memory the last state of backlight. Currently it starts in AutoMode every time.
