Notifications and alerts

The latest firmware has a loud, shrill repeating alert if connection to radar is lost. Since the Karoo battery can outlast radar, this can happen. What’s not needed is constant screaming reminders for this (or any other battery loss, if I’m riding it is not getting fixed anyway). If I wanted something shrieking in my ear and yelling at me about a problem beyond my control, I’d bring my ex on the ride and give them a double espresso. Give us a setting to select alert repeats and durations, or just let it happen twice and shut up. Riding is supposed to be enjoyable, this really degrades the experience.

That's a non-issue...but bringing your ex for this topic may be concerning or, or you still care more for her than for the "radar lost connection" 🤣

This is a fair point. I frequently ride in a group of three friends, one of whom owns a radar. We connect to his radar so that all of us know cars are approaching. This works pretty well.
...until he falls behind even 50m, in which case Karoo will scream indefinitely that the radar connection is lost. There's no way to turn this off other than turning off notifications for all sensors (which I dont want). Perhaps consider adding a per-sensor notification switch?
