Turn off navigation and still see route??

Is it possible for me to see a route I've downloaded on Hammerhead and see where I am at but not receive turn by turn directions?  I want to be able to go off route without being told to turn around etc. I have not purchased a Hammerhead yet. I am researching to find a MTB computer that can do this.

  Yes, you can show your route as a breadcrumb on the map without turn-by-turn instructions.
