Ride Simulator to develop extensions

Hi all,

i'm developing a ride simulator, and i have some problems. It's an extension that takes a gpx file, and via a virtual sensor gives gps coordinates, elevation, power and cadence to the Karoo. I need it to develop some ideas that i have in mind (first of all, i need a virtual pacer !), and test extensions executing virtual rides. 

The simulator basically works. When i start a new ride, i see the values of power and cadence, in map page i see that the ride is following the gpx route, and i can see that also the distance is calculated. When the ride approaches a climb, i also see the Climb feature that activates. All fine.

What i don't see is the speed. I thought that, with time and distance, the karoo could calculate the speed as normally does riding, but the speed is always zero.

 

Any suggestions ? Maybe it's impossible to achieve it ?

  Please check the karoo-ride-replay (https://github.com/lgangitano/karoo-ride-replay) extension I published a couple of months ago. I think it does what you're trying to achieve.
