Plugged my Karoo in to charge with the supplied charging cable and came back to a melted mess that could have started a fire!

Device is now worthless.

  Yes. They took no responsibility and offered a pathetic discount to buy a new one. Too bad SRAM has ruined this brand.

  It was a K2. I am back using my laptop-sized K1, and it seems to charge just fine without getting hot or melting.
