Distance in tunnels = 0m
I've done some riding in an area where there are numerous extended tunnels, and for the first time ever I have realized that Karoo totally ignores the distance travelled through the tunnels.
I understand that there is no GPS signal inside the tunnel; that is fine. What I do not understand, and would like corrected, is the fact that the distance between the entrance and the exit of the tunnel is completely ignored. In essence, the tunnel has a length of 0m, while the time travelled does continue (auto-pause turned off). This causes the following issues:
- total length of ride is cut short
- average speed is reduced
In my eyes, the issue could easily be solved by drawing at least a straight line between the entrance and exit of the tunnel and adding this distance to the ride. My Coros watch does this, so it is possible.
Kind regards, Luis

I have noticed the same thing, when riding a bike around Grossglockner and Edelweisspitze a month ago, where there is quite few tunnels on the route.
Example from Strava and Hammerhead maps, riding through one specific tunnel, it' s length it's only 300 meters. The length of the tunnel is NOT counted into a total distance, even a mouse cursor, when sliding through the ride, just jumps it over, like that segment is not part of it. That's quite a letdown, and has to be addressed and fixed according, please.

Another example of a 500m long tunnel, going uphill, where you can also clearly see on the elevation map a sudden rise in elevation, and of course a lost GPS signal:
