Hi everyone,

my extension, LightONKaroo is an "AI-assisted experiment" designed to give you direct manual control over your ANT+ (and BLE) lights via a dedicated Data Field. I’m not a coder at all ;), so I built this project using the Gemini AI Agent within Android Studio, forking Dennis Strasser’s KarooFireFly.

  What's different about this vs. the native ANT+ lighting controls? When my lights are connected, they each get a page in the drop-down screen that has manual mode controls.

  Depending on the underlying ANT+ profiles of the lights used, different light modes for ON/OFF or Primary/Secondary/OFF can be selected (depending on the extension configuration) and easy controlled via a data field while riding. The behavior at the start of the ride, during a pause, or when ending the ride can also be configured. Magicshine Bluetooth lights (like the Hori 1300S) are also partially supported. With the new version 0.1.4, there is also a software thread mode to link the behavior of the connected lights (e.g., the radar light) with the reported radar thread (Warning: use at your own risk, it’s not a native hardware solution like some radars have integrated)
