Feature Request: Bolder weight font for data fields
AnsweredEvery letter and number on the Karoo 2 looks like it's in the same font and same weight, just different sizes and colors. With so much data on crammed on screen it can be hard to quickly glance and find the needed data, especially in situations that require full attention on the road ahead or if the terrain rough and it's hard to see straight (think rough gravel or cobbles). I'd like to request that the data field numbers were BOLDER so they stand out a bit better. That's all. Thanks.

There have been numerous highly voted Posts on this (and bad visibility) already, so one would assume that it would be top priority for Hammerhead. Poorly nothing has happened in the last two years. I am really interested in why that is and would like to discuss this with the Hammerhead folks.
The Karoo has great Potential and they have introduced a lot of great Features, but in visibility Garmin and especially Wahoo is miles ahead. I always struggle to find datafields, read text when my HR is at 180 and miss turns because the instructions are tiny. This is a major frustration, since the main thing you do while riding is look at numbers and datafields (or the map). On a desk or in advertisments the fonts look great, but while riding they don't have nearly enough contrast, boldness and size to be readable.
The new control center is great, but in visibility it is a big step back compared to the old scrollable layout. Icons are tiny and contrast is very low (grey on grey, seriously??) which I just do not understand.

Exactly! It’s crazy how the whole “check out our awesome color screen” and “it’s Android!” marketing push is all that’s ever really talked about. Yet, the OS is so rigid.
I was riding this week and wondered, “why are the data tiles only offered in such a limited number of schemes”? Wouldn’t it be better if users could just pick and choose the tiles (graph, number, square vs rectangle) they want on screen and move them around? Maybe there’s a programming complication to it, but as one of the most expensive devices in the market, I’d hope it could do more.
Wahoo’s “zooming” function on the data screens is absolutely awesome, it’s one of the reasons I still keep my ELEMNT Roam around as opposed to doing the trade in promo when I bought the Karoo. Once Wahoo figure out how to improve their map screen to add more detail, I might be jumping back to them.
