"Climb completed" after downhill segment

Several times in the last few weeks I have seen a pop up saying "Climb #x completed" toward the end of a downhill segment. It's as if the Karoo has decided that I climbed the section I just descended.

This is an annoyance rather than a critical bug, but should be addressed.
